At least 14 people have been killed in Pakistan as parts of the country have been lashed by thunderstorms and high winds, triggering flash floods in some areas. According to Al Jazeera, eleven of those killed died in flooding in the southwestern Balochistan province, while three others died in Karachi, the country's largest city, from injuries resulting from high winds knocking over roofs, electricity poles and other infrastructure.
In Punjab, according to the reports, wheat crops standing on 35000 acres of land were severely affected by gushing water from hill torrents. 18461 acres of land affected while Wheat, Fodder, Vegetables and other crops destroyed on 12591 acres. Almost 3000 Households are affected, while 450 houses are partially damaged
In Balochistan: 0ver 6,000 families in both District Sibi and Kachhi
In Karachi: More than 1000 households were badly affected.
