Caritas Bangladesh, and their beneficiaries would like to congratulate Singapore in celebrating 200 years of the Catholic faith and expresses their gratitude for all that they have received from you through CHARIS.

With your blessings, we are able to support Caritas Bangladesh in responding to the Rohingya Refugee Crisis by providing a safe environment in¬ the Cox's Bazar refugee camp through the provision of basic necessities, integrated shelter and site development, improved WaSH (Water, sanitary, and hygiene), and disaster risk reduction. Personal development and growth was also a key aspect to help the communities live dignified lives - vocational training, education of children aged 3-14, and psychosocial support were provided.

Just like how the light of Christ was brought to our land by missionaries from faraway lands 200 years ago, the blessings of our brothers and sisters in Singapore have enabled us to ignite and shine forth to bring hope to our neighbours.
