Our Member Organisations

CHARIS is the umbrella body for 19 member organisations comprising mission groups and humanitarian entities, all committed to being the face of Jesus in their efforts to uplift individuals from all backgrounds, regardless of race or religion. Through a diverse range of initiatives, we focus on supporting the poor, vulnerable, and marginalised, offering hope and assistance to those in need overseas.

ACTS began in 2006 with parishioners from the Church of Our Lady Queen of Peace bringing joy to students in Cambodia. It has since grown into a global mission, serving communities in Cambodia, Myanmar, the Philippines, and Vietnam, uniting hundreds to share Christ’s love

Agape Human Wellness

Founded in 2000 by Mr. Paul Raj, is a Singapore-based charity supporting children, youth, and underprivileged families. With the help of dedicated volunteers, we collaborate with NGOs and groups to improve living conditions and inspire hope in impoverished communities.

Anak-TnK

Established in 1998, ANAK-Tnk supports Manila's most vulnerable children, including those in slums and on the streets. Led by Father Matthieu Dauchez and Ms. Gloria Recio, with global branches supervised by Mr. Pascal Breton, the foundation focuses on Education, Nutrition, Health, and Protection for children in needs.

Cahaya Masa Depan

Cahaya Masa Depan

Cahaya Masa Depan (CMD), meaning "Light of the Future" in Bahasa Indonesia, was founded in 2015 by Harold after volunteering with the Paris Foreign Missions (MEP) in Tanjung Pinang. Inspired by his experience at Asrama Santo Tarsisius, CMD supports underprivileged children in the Riau Islands, empowering them through education to break the poverty cycle.
Cannossian Sisters

Canossian Daughters of Charity

Founded in 1808 by St. Magdalene of Canossa, the Canossian Sisters have served in Singapore since 1894. With 50 Sisters in Singapore and Myanmar, they focus on education, pastoral care, youth ministry, and charity work. They also provide training for young women in Myanmar, supported by a network of lay associates and volunteers.

Its mission is to empower families in living authentically Christian lives, with a vision of renewing the Earth through the Holy Spirit. CFC focuses on building the Church of the Home and the Church of the Poor.

Epiphany

Epiphany

Founded in 2000 by parishioners of the Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Epiphany evangelises in Singapore and the Riau Islands. In Singapore, it organises events like the annual fiesta and Alpha course to introduce Christ to non-Christians. Epiphany's TeachNLearn program improves English education through regular visits to mission stations, resulting in growing school enrollment and positive feedback from students.

Father Damien Society

Father Damien Society

Founded in 2009, the Father Damien Society supports underprivileged youth in Indonesia and the Philippines by providing educational supplies, health services, and sponsorships for school fees. It also supports orphanages, offers nourishment programs, and regularly sends clothing and books. The society’s 12 active members meet monthly via Zoom with Fr. Rusdi.

Fishing Rod Society

Fishing Rod Society 

The Fishing Rod Society, inspired by the quote "Teach a man to fish, you feed him for a lifetime," focuses on education for the poor and support for the sick. Its main project, Agape Centre, provides education for refugee children and plans to expand its reach to other refugees. The center also offers pastoral care visits and aims to provide skills training, employment courses, and activities for children.

The name "Focolare," meaning "hearth" or "family fireside" in Italian, represents its mission of creating a large, diverse family united by the Gospel.
