Growing up in a small province in the Philippines, I often wondered why missionaries would visit a quiet place like ours. When they came, their presence alone told me that we mattered. No place was too small, and no person was forgotten in God’s kingdom.
They helped not just through programs, but through their time, kindness, and willingness to journey to us. As a child, I felt seen and valued. Their service changed my perspective — if they were willing to travel so far, then God truly cares for every soul. That experience planted a seed of faith in my heart.

Now, whenever I serve, I remember there may be a child quietly watching, wondering if they matter. I am living proof that saying “yes” to God can plant hope, transform hearts, and inspire the next generation to do the same.
