Disaster Response

CHARIS' operational role includes the coordination of the Singapore Archdiocese's response to disasters. Disaster Response comprises of activites which are segmented into three stages - Preparation, Relief and Reconstruction.

At CHARIS, we support our Member Organisations and the Caritas network in their immediate response following a natural disaster. In addition, some of the Mission Trips organised by CHARIS also assist with post-disaster reconstruction work such as house building and infrastructure support
